Rise of the Drones – the Plantworx COMIT Drone Zone Cleared for Take Off

The use of Drones in construction has grown dramatically in recent years and there is an aerial revolution happening across the entire industry. These flying cameras or UAV’s (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) are transforming the way we work - from small-scale construction sites to mammoth infrastructure projects - a bird’s eye view from a drone, which can store accurate measurement data, video and images, offers a level of project monitoring which has not been previously possible.

More exhibitors sign up for Plantworx and two new ‘zones’ are added to the event.

25TH FEB 2019

11 new exhibitors have committed to Plantworx last week and have secured their stands at the 4th biennial construction exhibition, which is taking place at its new home at the East of England Arena Peterborough. The show now boasts 338 exhibitors in total; 106 (31%) are new to the show. The Railworx element to the show is also growing as Rail exhibitors book their stands – there are around 30 Railworx exhibitors with many more pending – watch this space for details.

Plantworx and Railworx on track for the 2019 event

The Plantworx Construction Exhibition, hosted by the CEA (Construction Equipment Association), is just four months away! The biennial working construction event is taking place at its brand-new home at the East of England Arena in Peterborough from 11-13 June 2019. New for 2019 is Railworx, which will give visitors the chance to see railway civil and systems engineering live and working.

Plantworx over 80% sold - more new exhibitors sign up

9TH FEB 2019

The Plantworx team announced yesterday that the 2019 event is over 80% sold. This percentage takes into account that the show, at its new East of England Arena home Peterborough, has 20% more exhibition space than the 2017.
